Ski Instructor Certification
The Canadian Rockies Academy 11 week winter sports instructor programme and Ski Instructor Certification is widely recognised as the most rounded and educational course of it’s kind anywhere in the world. As such, it is extremely highly regarded within the industry, and makes a great addition to your CV.
The Academy encourages Ski Instructor Certification course participants to become involved with all aspects of running and maintaining the resort. During your stay, you will learn about every aspect of mountain operations – from being part of Ski Patrol to taking First Aid and Avalanche Awareness courses.
You will also learn the importance of providing a consistent level of customer service to all visitors on the mountain. This ‘real world’ experience and education will prove invaluable when you come to look for work in the ski or snowboard industry.
